Drop videos here to start editing

MP4 · MOV · WebM — several files at once is fine

A real timeline in your browser

Drop in one or more videos and they appear on a timeline with thumbnails. Split at the playhead, drag clip edges to trim, drag clips to reorder and delete what you don't need. Undo and redo work for every step.

Change the frame to 9:16 for Reels, Shorts and TikTok, 1:1 or 4:5 for feeds, or 16:9 for YouTube. Rotate sideways phone videos and speed the whole edit up or down.

Captions that write themselves

Press Auto-generate and the Whisper speech-recognition model listens to your edit and creates timed captions in many languages. Fix any word, move or stretch captions on the timeline, choose size, color and position, then burn them into the video or download an SRT file.

Titles and text blocks work the same way: add one at the playhead, type, and drag it to the moment it should appear.

Nothing leaves your computer

Most online editors upload your footage to a server and keep it there. Here the video is decoded, edited and encoded inside your browser with the WebCodecs API, so personal clips and client work stay on your device. The finished MP4 has no watermark.

Frequently asked questions

Is the video editor free?

Yes. Editing and export up to 1080p are free with no watermark and no sign-up. Premium adds 4K export and removes ads.

Which browsers work?

Recent Chrome, Edge and Safari support the video encoder the editor uses. Firefox support depends on the version.

How are captions made?

An open-source Whisper model runs on your device. It downloads once (about 40–77 MB) and is cached, so the sound of your video is never sent anywhere.

Can I export captions separately?

Yes. Download them as an SRT file, and switch off burning-in if you only want the file.
