Is there a limit on the number of files?

The free plan merges up to 10 files at a time. Large documents depend on your device's memory, since the work happens on your computer.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

View-only PDFs (no open password) are unlocked automatically. If a PDF asks for a password to open, remove it first with Unlock PDF, then merge.

Can I add images to the merged PDF?

Convert the images with JPG to PDF or HEIC to PDF first, then merge that PDF with the others.
